This May marks the 1-year anniversary of the signing of LD 1539, “An Act to Provide Access to Fertility Care,” making Maine the fifth (out of the six) New England states to provide residents access to the care and resources they need to grow their families. Our successful advocacy efforts for Maine’s Fertility Insurance Law were led by State Representative Colleen Madigan, who was awarded the 2022 Resolve New England Advocacy Award at our Conference last Fall.
